With a decade of experience, Dr. Adriana Escandon has dedicated herself to assisting patients with sleep disorders. She takes pride in serving individuals from various backgrounds, including private and university clinics, hospitals, and US veterans. Dr. Escandon offers her expertise in addressing a wide range of sleep problems, including snoring, insomnia, pregnancy-related sleep disorders, and PTSD. She completed her residency in Clinical Neurology at Washington University School of Medicine in 2008 (St. Louis, MO) and holds board certifications in Sleep Medicine, Neurology, and Clinical Neurophysiology. During her Sleep Medicine Fellowship at the Washington University Multidisciplinary Sleep Center, Dr. Escandon actively participated in providing comprehensive care for patients with various sleep disorders, including snoring, sleep apnea, sleep-related cardiopulmonary complications, insomnia, pregnancy-related sleep disorders, narcolepsy, restless legs syndrome, and circadian rhythm disorders such as jet lag.

She gained additional expertise in EEG (electroencephalography) and other neurophysiological techniques applied to patients with neurological and sleep disorders, both during wakefulness and sleep. She actively contributed to educating medical students, resident physicians, fellow physicians, and sleep technologists in the captivating field of Sleep Medicine.
